mx51 is a payments-as-a-service solution for banks, non-bank acquirers, and other merchant service providers. We are building a payment platform that allows merchants to accept payments in-store, in-app and online, whilst consolidating all their data on a real-time business management dashboard.

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a driven and enthusiastic professional looking to make their mark in the Fintech industry. Whether you come from retail, sales, travel, client services or hospitality - we’re looking for someone who enjoys building strong internal and external relationships and thinking outside the box to solve problems.

As our new Partnerships Manager, you will be naturally curious and enjoy working with a variety of people to develop value-based strategies that meet the needs of our Point-of-Sale (POS) partners across the entire lifecycle - from integration, customer support and campaigns. In addition, you will have a knack for presenting, and get energised by showcasing our product and new tech features to current and potential partners.

This role can be based in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane.

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Have a knack for nurturing and establishing internal and external relationships
  • Understand our partner’s objectives and identify how we can support them through marketing campaigns and promotions
  • Be persistent and focused on closing opportunities
  • Manage a pipeline of leads and deliver accurate forecasts using a CRM
  • Grow and manage a portfolio of POS partners

What we’re looking for in an applicant:

  • Experience in a client/customer facing role
  • Proven ability to build relationships and credibility with external stakeholders at all levels
  • Structured thinking
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Thrive in a high-growth environment, with ability to navigate ambiguity
  • Experience with Monday.com CRM (desirable)
  • Experience in the payments and/or point-of-sale industry (desirable)
